Gretchen practices a unique and progressive approach to horsemanship, learned from extensive experience and formal education combined. She spent almost a decade showing as a professional on the most competitive Hunter Jumper circuits in the U.S., riding in clinics and working on a personal level with several winning Olympic Showjumping riders and international young horse trainers. She worked as a professional rider and trainer for many businesses on both coasts of the U.S. and also in Ireland.
In 2015 Gretchen moved to Vermont and since has become a Certified Practitioner in The Masterson Method® form of equine bodywork, and a current practitioner through Spencer LaFlure’s school for Neuromuscular Horse Dentistry™. She also has Reiki training and attunements through the John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing. Gretchen works with horses of all breeds, disciplines, ages, and histories. She believes in helping each horse to reach optimal Whole Body Balance, often melting away “behavioral” and performance issues in the process. Her work in the Northeast involves educating owners honestly and transparently and helping people gain access to a depth of understanding and advanced, progressive services for their equine endeavors.
